TECH2LINK Final Project Meeting to Take Place in Tirana on 20–21 October 2026

The TECH2LINK project will hold its Final Project Meeting on 20–21 October 2026 in Tirana, Albania, bringing together project partners from Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Poland.

Under the theme “Bridging the Gap: Technology Transfer Hubs Connecting Western Balkans Universities, Business and Society”, the meeting will provide an opportunity to review the main achievements of the project, present the results generated through the Technology Transfer Hubs and discuss the continuation of cooperation beyond the formal project period.

During the two-day meeting, partners will reflect on the progress achieved in strengthening institutional capacities for technology transfer, knowledge exchange, innovation and university–business cooperation. Particular attention will be given to the role of the Technology Transfer Hubs established and developed within the participating higher education institutions and to their contribution to creating stronger links between universities, enterprises and wider society.

The programme will focus on five interconnected areas: Technology Transfer Hubs; capacity building and knowledge transfer; university–business cooperation; innovation and entrepreneurship; and sustainability and future collaboration.

The Final Project Meeting will also serve as an important platform for partners to discuss how the structures, knowledge, methodologies and networks developed during TECH2LINK can continue to be used after the completion of the project. Sustainability, institutional integration and opportunities for future regional and European cooperation will therefore form an important part of the discussions.

TECH2LINK – “Bridging the Gap: Technology Transfer Hubs Connecting Western Balkans Universities, Business and Society” is implemented within the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education programme.
